Rungevity is an early-stage running decision support platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information Rungevity may collect, how that information is used, and the limits of the service.

This page explains Rungevity's current privacy practices during its early beta stage. It is not a substitute for formal legal review.

Who operates Rungevity

Rungevity is operated by the person or team responsible for the Rungevity project. Public founder and project information is available on the About page.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Rungevity, we may collect:

  • Account information, such as name and email, if you create an account.
  • Intake information, such as running history, goals, injury context, and relevant health or running background.
  • Self-reported check-in information, such as pain, stiffness, soreness, fatigue, stress, RPE, running duration, distance, and recent load changes.
  • Public checker responses while you are using the checker. Health information entered into the public checker is not saved by the checker.
  • Guided support application information, if you apply for physio-guided support.
  • Technical information, such as device, browser, analytics, logs, and security information, depending on how you use Rungevity.

Sensitive or health-related information

Some information entered into Rungevity may be health-related or sensitive, including symptoms, pain, injury context, stiffness, and recovery response. You should only provide information you are comfortable sharing and should make sure the information you provide is true and accurate.

How we use information

  • To provide running education and decision support.
  • To create check-ins, guidance, Decision Reports, or Run Tolerance Profile outputs.
  • To support account functionality and saved history.
  • To respond to support questions or guided support applications.
  • To improve safety, usability, and product quality.
  • To maintain security, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Public checker data

The public progression checker is designed to provide a limited one-off suggestion. Health information entered into the public checker is not saved by the checker. Your answers are held in the page while you use it and are cleared when you reset the form or leave the page.

Separate website analytics or technical logs may record ordinary page-level technical information. They should not include your public checker health answers.

Authenticated app data

If you create an account or use the authenticated app, your running, intake, check-in, and response information may be saved so you can view history, track responses, and receive more complete decision support.

Guided support data

If you apply for or purchase guided support, information you submit may be reviewed manually to decide whether support is suitable and to provide the support. Guided support is not urgent or emergency care.

Sharing information

Rungevity does not sell user health information. Information may be shared only where needed for:

  • Service providers that help operate the website or app.
  • Payment providers, if payments are used.
  • Email or contact providers, if used.
  • Legal or safety obligations where applicable.
  • Guided support delivery, if you apply for or receive that support.

Data storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Access, correction, and deletion

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing hello@rungevity.app.

Children and minors

Rungevity is not intended for children or for use without appropriate adult or guardian involvement where required.
